The rumors say that the DLC characters are probably going to be added from the DC comics.

If a thought of adding a DC hero in Mortal Kombat arose in the fan’s mind, then maybe we will see a DC hero in the Mortal Kombat line up soon. The idea seems really great, but it depends on the NetherRealm Studios, Warner Bros, and DC comics. The news for the Kombat pack 2 will be announced next year and until then we all have to wait and see whether the devs think about Wonder Women Character DLC to Mortal Kombat or not. Although the DLC initiative led by Mortal Kombat is a great step and will see how the villains of DC’s will appear and fights in this game.
