Guide to Fixing Windows Error 1320

Windows Operating system sometimes comes up with the error 1320 when installation is in the process. It is a problem which often happens when an installer tries to make shortcuts for Operating system and while accessing app data. Below are the steps to fix the error.
Method 1. Restoring the Default Music Folder (Windows 8.1/8/7/ Vista)
  1. Double-click the username and desktop icon.
  2. Select Properties from the context menu and press “Right” on the My Music folder.
  3. My Music Properties dialog will open.
  4. Press the Navigation button.
  5. Press Restore Default tab.
  6. Press Apply, and then on OK.
  7. The user will be prompted to approve moving folder contents (files and subfolders) to the default directory. Press the Yes tab.

Method 2. Cleaning the Disc (For Windows 8.1/8)
  1. Press the Windows Key + X at the same time.
  2. Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
  3. Enter “cleaning” and then click ENTER.
  4. The Disk CleanUp program will get started and will analyze how much area of user hard disk it can obtain.
  5. After the completion of disk analysis, check-up all the check boxes, and then press OK.
Method 3. Cleaning the Disc (For Windows 7/ Vista)
  1. Press the Start tab
  2. Point to All Programs
  3. Right press Command Prompt. Choose Run as administrator.
  4. Method 4. Providing Security Permission to ProgramData Folder (For Windows 8.1/8)
  5. Twice press the PC desktop icon.
  6. Press the View button on the ribbon interface.
  7. Check-up the box named “Hidden items.”
  8. Press the Options icon.
Method 5. Uncheck the box labeled “Hide protected windows system files (Recommended).”
  1. Press Apply, and then OK.
  2. Twice press the C:\drive.
  3. Right click the “ProgramData” folder, select Properties from the context menu.
  4. The folder Properties dialog will launch.
  5. Press the Security button.
  6. Press the advance button.
  7. A new parent dialog will launch.
  8. Press the Continue tab under the Permission button.
  9. Provide the read/ write access permission to the selected folder from the permission tab.
  10. Press OK.
Method 5. Provide Security Permission to ProgramData Folder (For Windows 7/Vista)
  1. Select the Start tab.
  2. Enter “Folder Option” in the Search Box.
  3. Click on ENTER.
  4. The folder dialog option will get launched. Press the View button.
  5. Choose “Show hidden files, folders and drives” option under “Hidden files and folders” category.
  6. Uncheck the box labeled “Hide protected Windows system files.
  7. Press OK.
  8. Click twice the PC’s desktop icon.
