Johnny Lin, the father of Memoji, got an inspiration to make the application because of his sheer inclination towards selfies and GIFs. Step 1: Installing the Memoji Keyboard Memojis can be downloaded for no cost from the Apple App Store. However, your device must have iOS 8.1 or later. The Memoji keyboard lets you add up to five different customized emojis. However, you can unlock this limit by upgrading the keyboard after paying a couple of dollars. After downloading it, just follow the prompts on the screen, Step 2: Creating personalized animated emojis Launch the Memoji application and then touch the blank icon that reads “Tap to Set” for creating a new GIF.
