•Run the Audio Troubleshooter in Windows 10
1.    Click on the Windows and R keys together to launch the Run panel.
2.    After that, enter “ms-settings:troubleshoot” to launch the troubleshooting option of the Settings tab.
3.    Go down to the Find and fix other problem option located in the Troubleshoot option.
4.    Press on the Recording option,
5.    After that, press on the Run the troubleshooter option.
6.    Choose the Microphone option and after that, press on the Next option.
7.    Let the investigation to finish.
8.    Press on the Apple this fix option in case you have got the repair strategy.
9.    After completing the procedure, start the system again.
10.    Check whether you have successfully enabled mic boost option in Windows 10.
•Update Windows and Sound Drivers
1.    Keep pressing on the Windows and R keys together to launch the Run dialog window.

3.    Click on the Enter button to launch the Windows Update option of the Update and Security option.
4.    Press on the Check for updates option given in the Windows Update menu.

9.    Click on the Windows and R keys together for opening the Run pop-up box.
10.    Enter “devmgmt.msc” in the provided field.
11.    Click on the Enter option for opening the Device Manager menu.
12.    Enlarge the pull-down list linked with Audio inputs and outputs.
13.    You have to right-click on the microphone device and after that, select the Properties option.
14.    Open the Driver option.
15.    Press on the Update driver option in the Properties window.
16.    Press on the Search automatically for updated driver software option given on the next window.
17.    In case you have to find the latest version of the driver, go through the prompts mentioned on the screen for installing the latest version on the system.
18.    After finishing this procedure, start the system and check you have enabled mic boot option in your Windows 10 PC.

•    Enter “mmsys.cpl”.
•    Click on the Enter button for opening the Sound menu.
•    Press on the recording option located in the Sound menu.
