Fix 1: Let the OS troubleshoot blurry applications by itself
- Firstly, do a right-click in a free space on the desktop.
- After that, choose Display Settings. It will be located in the menu.
- Next, visit the left-hand side of the menu.
- After that, choose Display.
- Then, go to the right-hand side of the screen.
- Next, tap on the ‘Advanced scaling settings’ link.
- Then, push the toggle for enabling ‘Let Windows try to fix apps, so they are not blurry.’
- After that, restart the computer to save the changes that have been made by you.
- Whenever the system boots, look if the applications are blurry or not.
Fix 2: Change the DPI Settings of that particular application
- Firstly, do a right-click on the affected application.
- Next, choose Properties.
- Then, click on the Compatibility option.
- After that, press on the Change High DPI Settings option.
- Ensure square near ‘Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program instead of the one in Settings’ has been chosen.
- Even choose a square near ‘Override high DPI scaling behavior’ statement.
- Next, tap on OK to save the changes done by you.
- Lastly, click Apply and OK. It will be present in the Properties window.
Fix 3: Turning on ClearType
- Firstly, visit the taskbar.
- Next, tap on the Search bar.
- Then, write ‘cleartype’ into the search bar.
- After that, choose Adjust ClearType.
- For turning on the ClearType feature, Choose ‘Turn on ClearType.’
- Choose whether you wish to have the present screen resolution or native resolution.
- Then, press ‘Next’.
- Whenever get the ClearType Text Tuner window, you shall be able to select the type of text display you would like to have. Press on Next to move further.
- Lastly, press on Finish for completing the procedure.
Fix 4: Updating the Display Drivers by Device Manager
- Firstly, visit the taskbar.
- Next, do a right-click on the windows symbol.
- After that, choose ‘Device Manager.’
- Then, expand the contents of the Display Adapters section.
- Next, do a right-click on the graphics card.
- After that, choose Update Driver. It will be located in the context menu.
- Then, press ‘Search automatically for updated driver software’ option.
